Frequently Asked Questions

Are you currently accepting new clients?

Yes, I currently have availability to work with new individual and relationship clients.

Do you offer sessions virtually or in person?

I am currently offering virtual sessions to residents of New York through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.

On a case-by-case basis, I can offer in-person walking sessions in Prospect Park or Green-Wood Cemetery.

Do you take health insurance?

At this time I am not in network with any health insurances. I am happy to provide a superbill for out of network benefits.

Do you have a sliding scale for session rates?

Indeed I do! Please refer to the Fees page for more details.

What is your availability?

Generally, I am available Mondays-Thursdays (mornings and evenings) and Friday mornings.

What is your cancellation policy?

I kindly ask that you let me know about cancellations and reschedules at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session. In the event that you are unable to notify me prior to the session, there is a $50 cancellation fee. However, I understand that things happen, and there will always be flexibility extended for emergency and health-related circumstances.

What should I include in my initial message?

Whatever you are most comfortable sharing! Helpful things to include could be: the potential focus of our therapeutic work, important identities and lived experiences, motivation for seeking support at this time, general availability, and which fee tier you are most comfortable with.

What is a Redistribution Rate?

Redistribution rates are for folks who have financial privilege and willingness to pay a rate that is slightly above my full fee. The intention is that this will allow me to work with more clients who need the lower end of my sliding scale rates.
